Every day, thousands in Gujarat face life-threatening illnesses without access to basic diagnostic services. Cancer, kidney disease, pregnancy complications, and other serious conditions often go undietected simply because patients can’t afford a simple ultrasound scan.
At Mediaid Foundation UK, we believe healthcare should never be a privilege — it’s a basic human right.
In rural and low-income communities around Navsari, Gujarat, there is a critical shortage of affordable sonography services. Many patients, especially women, the elderly, and those with chronic illness, are forced to delay or skip vital tests that could save their lives. Without diagnosis, there is no treatment. Without treatment, lives are lost.
We are working with local healthcare providers to establish a dedicated Sonography Diagnostic Centre in Navsari to provide:
